Papa Loca

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Hope you are having a great day. I went to a place called La Papa Loca. It is a very small place but clean, it stays on 3701 Cameron St, Lafayette, LA 70506. Here is the thing, they could fix their parking space, but until then let’s focus on the food.

Best tacos I ate in town. You read it right. Best tacos in Lafayette, Louisiana. I got quesadillas that were different than all the others I’ve eaten, and I also got a beef taco. The quesadilla had shredded chicken and of course melted cheese but, the chicken overtook the cheese though. The quesadilla tortilla was way better than the tortilla of the beef taco. But guys, the meat of the beef taco was something else. The beef of the taco was outstanding it was perfect I suggest you put lime on the beef, but the tortilla could have been better.

What made me so happy was they had passion fruit juice. I give this place a 3.0. That’s that ladies and gentlemen hope you have a great day.

The Kritic Says:

  • 3.0 Starts
    • The place is very small and when is packed is not very comfortable, take the food to go.
    • The food is delicious.
    • Service takes time.
    • They don’t have any activities for kids.
    • Did I mentioned that the food is good? Those tacos!!!!!

American Road Trip: West Coast

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Hope you are having a great day. This is day four of my cooking classes at Sur la Table. Today we did food from the West Coast. Before I tell you what we did, make sure to check my blogs from day one, Easy Coast; day two, my neck of the woods, the South; and day three, the Midwest.

So back to today. Today we made baja grilled shrimp 🍤 tacos. But here is the cool part that I liked and thought I wouldn’t like,  we had to add some cabbage and carrots to the tacos. Then I made a salad 🥗 with jicama, orange, and avocado. It was so delicious. I was surprised.

For dessert I did berry crostata, fancy for berry pie. That’s it ladies and gentlemen, competition tomorrow and I must practice and study. Enjoy the pictures and come back tomorrow to check how I did in my first (of many) competitions.
