Lafayette, are you looking for something to do tomorrow? Go check out the Lao New Year Festival. This is an annual event that takes place at 7913 Champa Avenue, Broussard, LA 70518.

This event celebrates the beautiful culture of Laos 🇱🇦. They will have a parade, music, dances, a lot of food, and fun things going on. I went today to check the area and here is my advice:

1. Wear boots.

2. Bring cash.

3. Go early or parking will be a bit far and you will have to pay.

I hope to see you because the food smelled good, a lot of kids were playing around, some monks were practicing to play the taiko (a huge drum), ladies were practicing for the pageant, they had floats, snowball machines, and many other fun things.

Can’t wait to visit this temple tomorrow.
