Hello ladies and gentlemen hope you are having a great day. I’m having a blast because there is no school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and yes I have no school for a week. So it’s time to enjoy and check out new places. Today I went to LFAM? What is that? Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market. It’s located at 2913 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70506.
There is a lot of stuff at the Farmers Market, but this week Chef Bourque’s Beignets caught my attention. Those beignets were delicious. They melted in my mouth and as expected the sugar flew around, so guys you must try it. That’s a 4.5 starts right there!!!
To match my yummy beignets I drank a frozen lavender lemonade from Magnolia Moon. Yes, you read it well. Lavender lemonade. And guess what? It tasted good. I suggest you try it. But do not, I repeat do not get the frozen chai coffee. That tasted worse than boiled carrots, broccoli, and dirt mixed together. The frozen lavender lemonade however, deserves 3.5 starts. My sister even ate the flowers used for the decoration.
So, if you are looking for something to do on a Saturday morning, want to try new things, and support local farmers and artisans, make sure to check LFAM, you won’t be disappointed. You can run, play around, pet dogs, eat, listen to music…I always like going there.
That’s that ladies and gents, have a good one, enjoy your weekend and stay tuned, more post coming soon.
Hey mister critic I can’t believe you didn’t try some of that awesome coffee right next to Chef Ted why you could have had a Cafe Au Lait with them their beignets now that’s New Orleans style

Mr. Gary, thank you so much for your comment. How about this? Next time I come to the Farmers Market I’m coming for your Café au lait (if my mom allows me) and some more beignets from Chef Ted.
