Hello ladies and gentleman, Kritic here, with another review. This time, on another assignment for EatLafayette. I went to checkout Aztecas Mexican Cuisine located at 3535 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette, LA 70503.
The place looks cool. It has some cacti and it looks like a Mexican cantina. It was a relax vibe, but when I thought of Aztecas, I thought Aztec culture and history because i was studying it in school. I thought the place would have more pictures of temples, the big Aztec calendar and other artifacts. I think they should add more stuff about that. But lets talk about the food.
I ordered the beef and chicken chimichangas, the portion was so big and delicious. I also tasted my Mom’s chicken fajita and I loved it. The drinks were okay, the service was nice and they had stuff for my sister to so I give this place a 4. That’s that ladies and gentlemen.
The Kritic says:
- 4 starts:
- Cool decoration, but not the Aztec look that I expected. It was more a mix of American and Mexican.
- The food was also a mix of American and Mexican and it was absolutely delicious. Big and tasty portions.
- The prices were okay, but my food was complementary because I was on assignment for EatLafayette.
- Service was excellent.
- It’s a nice spot to bring your family and enjoy good times.
